Hey y'all check out our updated Vendor List, we've added a bunch of new talent for this coming weekend's market. Also, Historic Boulder is holding a big garage sale this weekend, featuring items collected from its members. Should be a FABULOUS mix of stuff to rummage, so don't miss out!

Check our Photo Gallery for a few fun snaps from last weekend's Flea. Last week saw the start of our regular feature for kids, Street Time Story Hour, plus poster coloring and sidewalk chalk for street art. The fun can only grow....

Wow! We are psyched to have both Boulder Weekly and KGNU on board as media sponsors. This is such a huge help to our marketing plan, and will benefit ALL supporters involved! Check our Press page for more details, as well as any press hits we receive in the land of media.

Drum roll please......
Wow, launch day of the Flea is shaping up to be a festive affair. Boulder's own samba march band, Bateria Alegria, will be joining us to wrap up the day with a parade of Brazilian rhythms. Here they are seen tearing up Pearl Street with an impromptu performance.

Bring your garage sale or yard sale gear to The Hill Flea! Why? Because we'll be able to deliver an audience of happy hunters to rummage and help you recycle all your unwanted stuff back into the community. Think about it......sure, you have to schlep the stuff up there (with enough interest, we may be able to help you with that btw), BUT, with our weekly non-profit partnerships, we can guarantee that you won't have to schlep it back home at the end of the day. Bring your sale to The Hill Flea and we'll make you a seamless part of our weekly community. Contact us for special discounts on booth space.

We are enthused beyond belief to announce that the best of Boulder's Fringe Festival will be joining our launch date to bring an air of festivity to the market.
The Boulder International Fringe Festival, part of the worldwide Fringe network and community (originating in Edinburgh, Scotland), has been entertaining the locals with world class performers for the past 3 years. Their belief that "Creativity creates community" couldn't be more in line with our own thoughts and goals for the Hill Flea. So, we welcome them with fanfare, and if anyone knows a good trumpeter, send 'em our way!

Welcome to The Hill Flea!
I am so excited to get this market underway and can't wait to see how it develops. I have spent many a day wandering flea markets - from the quintessential Parisian marché aux puces, to the expansive market in the Santa Monica, CA airport hangar, and last but not least, at my beloved former neighbor, The Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene. It's so hard to pinpoint what I love best about them - is it the love of the hunt? Whether discovering a new designer with beautiful baubles for sale or digging through piles of vintage treasures to unearth the perfect little sugar bowl, the joy of discovery is visceral, and leaves me with a different kind of feeling from when i shop in a mall. It's somehow more precious. Anyway, since i've had PLENTY of interactive experience with fleas of all stripes, i think it's high time for Boulder to boast it's own version.
We've got so many fun plans for the Hill Flea, so stay tuned to this site for constant updates and surprises.
Here's a nostalgic view of Brooklyn's Flea:
